I absolutely love when our family calendar is packed with sporting events. Sports are fantastic for both mental and physical well-being, and I’ve always been a big advocate for my children to get involved.


However, the cost of sports gear and uniforms can be a concern. As kids grow, there’s a constant need for new items that fit properly.

I am quite surprised that the list doesn’t include Caitlin Clark at Iowa. Currently she is leading the nation in scoring and ranks second nationally in assists per game. This is on a team playing strong Big 10 competition and having a number of other strong players on her team.

Again, I’m not sure if I made myself clear…Paige Bueckers is the best women’s basketball player I’ve ever seen regardless of age in my life. She see’s the court as well as anyone I’ve ever seen, man or woman, college or pro and I mean that. She could score 40 points per game if she wanted to or needed to, like Caitlyn Clark, if she wanted or needed to…she doesn’t need to nor wants to and her team is WAY better for that…(ie) #1 in the country. If anyone deserves the player of the year award no matter how old she is it is Paige Bueckers.

Paige Bueckers plays the game of basketball better than any player since Larry Bird and Magic Johnson and if you don’t give her the college women’s player of the year you don’t know basketball…

You guys are sooo full of SHIT! Toppin had a VERY good year but NEVER would have DOMINATED the Big men in the Big 10 like Garza did. I really thought this award was real. I received your holiday wishes by email today. I know this is a generic message, but someone always take the time to personalize it to me. That means a great deal. This past August, I was inducted into the Maine Basketball Hall of Fame – as a Legend. I’ll be 80 in a month. At my age what else could I be but a legend? It is a great honor for me. I miss being on the committee, having been there since the beginning and having been a state chairman for so many years. Thanks, again and have the most wonderful of holidays.

I was very interested in sports and was able to attend several sports events for him with my portable tape recorder where I would interview various sports personalities. I would ask the questions and Record the answers. I would then turn over the tapes to Tommy where he would say "we asked….” And then play sports figure’s response. I did this for him for several years and also even went to Joe Frasier’s Hotel room to set up A voice interview with Tommy on KHJ TV.


He was always very kind and supportive to me as a young man trying to get more involved in sports scene in Southern California.
