Da’Sean Butler was held to just nine points and five rebounds as #7 West Virginia fell to Connecticut on the road 73-62. The 6-foot-7 senior made just two of ten shots from the field and missed all four shots from beyond the arc. He was five of eight from the charity stripe.

Kansas, the number one team in the country, defeated Oklahoma 81-68. Their three Wooden Award candidates combined for 47 points. Freshman Xavier Henry made nine of 13 shots from the field, two of four from three-point range and all three free throws as he finished with 23 points and five rebounds.

Sherron Collins had 17 points and six assists as he made five of twelve shots from the field, two of three from beyond the arc and five of six from the charity stripe.

Center Cole Aldrich finished with seven points, twelve caroms and two blocked shots as he sank three of seven shots from the field and one of four from the line.
