Wesley Johnson was held to five of 20 shooting as #3 Syracuse was upset by Louisville 66-60 at home. The Iowa State transfer was two of seven from three-point range and made both free throws as he finished with eight rebounds and three assists. The Orangemen fell to 24-2 with the loss, snapping an eleven game-winning streak.

Evan Turner had another typical well-rounded game as he scored 16 points and added eleven rebounds and eight assists in #16 Ohio State’s 72-53 road win over Illinois. He made seven of 14 shots from the field and two of four from the line. The Buckeyes have won nine straight Big Ten contests.

Greg Monroe produced in all categories, but it was not enough as #8 Georgetown fell to Rutgers 71-68. The sophomore from New Orleans finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four blocked shots. Monroe made eight of 15 shots from the field, one of two from beyond the arc and two of three from the line.
